The design and layout of the Jack House challenged the conventional style of 1950s Australia. Away from the street, the house embraces the natural landscape. It's robust, modest and unfussy. Annalisa Capurro, the current owner, and partner of Capurro+Davis Design interviewed the original architect Russell Jack in the video below.
THE YOSEMITE HOUSE

At the south end of Palm Springs, the Yosemite Residence was built on the golf course in 1967. The whole neighborhood looks like it's out of a black and white vintage photo. Mark Davis designed each room with modern comforts while keeping the Mid-Century design spirit alive.

Designated on the prestigious RM Register of Historic Places, E. Stewart Williams built this historic home on over a half-acre, near Thunderbird Country Club in the Desert Ranch Estates neighborhood in 1957.
