MARK DAVIS
Director With a background in radio broadcasting and music memorabilia, Mark moved to the desert from the Bay Area in 2000 and purchased E. Stewart Williams Kenaston House in Rancho Mirage.
Wanting to restore the home including recreating the original floating fireplace and indoor planting space which had been removed, Mark could not find the materials to do the job authentically. That’s when he started procuring tile and other finishes which lead to the opening of Modern Home Design Showroom three years later. Modern Home Design Showroom has grown to become the valley’s “go to” destination for contemporary finishing products- flooring, including a beautiful selection of carpets and rugs, custom wall panels, decorative hardware and an amazing selection of wall tile. Mark’s goal was to always stay ahead of the curve and with an educated staff, offer timeless recommendations for those looking to restore or build their Mid Century Modern or contemporary home. |
In 2020 he and his wife, interior designer, Annalisa Capurro opened Modern Home2, the perfect companion to Modern Home, offering vintage Mid-Century and contemporary furniture, art, lighting decorative items and the valley’s largest selection of wall coverings and fabrics.
Sharing a deep passion for Mid-Century Modern architecture, art, and furniture, Mark and Annalisa started Capurro+Davis Design in 2018.
